Default gpsmap antiglare

Has anyone tried anti-reflective plastic film on the gpsmap or another
device? Garmin says there is an anti-reflective coating on the screen but
it doesn't look like it to me. With the 496 gizmo mounted on the copilot
side I've been able to knock down the glare by putting a kid's black tee
shirt over the copilot yoke but the film might be a better solution.
