	I received a card in the mail from the FAA offering FREE Integrated Airman Certificate and/or Rating Application (IACRA) training. Apparently IACRA is replacing old FAA Form 8710-1. *Here's the link:http://www.faasafety.gov/iacra/*Unfortunately, the FAQ is off-line at the moment. *It really gives you a feeling for their (in)competnece by having the FAQ file not found in conjunction with their mailing. *:-( The old form is hehttp://forms.faa.gov/forms/faa8710-1a.pdf Its been almost 2 years since a DE has accepted an 8710 from me. I've been using IACRA for awhile. There are some ratings that the software barfs on but their help desk is pretty responsive. -robert  |
