Default San Francisco Wave?

All,

My wife has a conference to attend in San Francisco between Christmas
and New Year's Day and I'm being dragged along as "arm candy." (I
learned that term from UH.)

Any chance of wave activity within the San Fran area? What about
Williams or even over to Minden. Does the wave appear out there
during this time period?

Should I take my log books and thick socks, or just be happy with
visits to the wine regions?

Thanks,
Ray Lovinggood
