I don't know the correct translation of "Cartouche Doré" but I can tell you the word Cartouche must be taken in another meaning wich is : ornament containing text. In french, in the present case, "cartouche" is gender masculine wich means it can't be a cartridge. If it was feminine, "Doré" would be written with a final E : "Dorée" and the tranlation would, in fact, be "Cartridge". French langage is sometimes very perplexing ! ;o) |
