Debt soars to a record
That's about six months income for one year for the average worker, not
a very large amount in the real world. That's the good thing about having an extremely strong economy - we can have a moderate debt load and not worry too much. I think the administration will allow the US national debt to soar 9% (of GNP) level because of political considerations.
