Default Region 10 Report from Brenham

2 racing days in the bag. Day 2 (today) was referred to by one
seasoned competitor as "very Uvaldesqe." In other words: 3:00PM
thermals going to 7,500-7,800agl at 9-plus knots. Tons of CU's, 250-
miles, 74mph for the standards WITHOUT water. We will hope this great
weather continues because for some who have traveled from the east and
the midwest--they're really enjoying the big flamin' Texas lift.

BTW: everyone loves Brenham Municipal airport... the cafe on the
field... the cute waitstaff in their saddle shoes and poodle skirts...
not to mention the superb food.

So far we're having a ball in Brenham.

Bob De Leon,
Contest Manager
