I use a digital totalizer called a "bucket". *It has better accuracy, it's faster, doesn't require batteries, can be replaced at any hardware store. Doubles as a wash bucket. -Evan Ludeman / T8 Doesn't work under an LS6 which dumps under the belly. Wastes water, too. I hook up a digital flow meter to my standpipe and only use as much water as I need. Kirk 66 My 20B dumps from the belly and it works fine. Of course, I have Schleicher landing gear. Not knocking the 6, I tried to buy one about a month before I found the 20. Lovely ship. But it's a little skimpy on the landing gear and ground clearance. Point taken for those who fly on planet Arrakis. Here in the Eastern bogs, we generally bitch about too much water rather than too little, a nuisance, not a scarce resource. Good on you desert guys for being responsible citizens. -Evan Ludeman / T8 |
