Did Anyone Ever Buy a Glider HUD?
I was leafing through a back issue of Soaring at SSA's W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-
L online archive. Its fun to see what was happening 10-20-30 years ago. I then stumbled across a heads up display (HUD) for gliders. "Man", I said to myself, "that is pretty cool." http://ssa.org/magazine/archive/View...onth=7&page=55 Did anyone ever buy and use one of these? How well did it work? Why don't we have one of these today? - John
