D-Day Stukas
I would appreciate help for a forthcoming article. I have read accounts
that the 339th and 355th FGs claimed 11 Ju 57s destroyed, 1 probable and 6 damaged around Orleans on D-Day, 6 June 1944. Does anyone know the Luftwaffe unit or units involved, since there should not have been any Ju 87s anywhere near Orleans at that time.
