Thanks Guys! Simply removing and reseating the OAT sensor plug did the
trick. Oh, and yeah... My remotely mounted meat thermometer is also great! At 16,800' MSL, the temperature was 8 deg F. Now I'm sure I know the reason my feet were cold! According to my XCSoar program, one of the thermals I entered registered 17.5 kts! Of course, my average was only in the 11+ range. The season is really getting going here in New Mexico. "Dan Marotta" wrote in message ... Thanks, Guys, you've given me hope. It was just a bit over a year ago that, in flight, the needle fell off the bloody thing and I had to send it off. It didn't fall off this time. "Paul Remde" wrote in message ... Hi, After unplugging the temperature probe, plug it back in and make sure it is fully seated. Then power the 302 up. Paul Remde Cumulus Soaring, Inc. "Evan Ludeman" wrote in message ... On Thursday, April 25, 2013 7:37:08 PM UTC-4, Dan Marotta wrote: Had my canopy off today to do some work behind the panel. I accidentally leaned against the panel and it slammed down. I powered up and everything works except for the CAI302. The display turns on and, IIRC, the needle swung, but it never got beyond the second screen, the one which displays a number at the top and the firmware version at the bottom. The wind got pretty strong today at Moriarty so I put it back in the trailer. My plan for tomorrow is to disconnect everything and reconnect thinking that a connector or wire might have come loose. There's no indication of damage by looking at the screen. Any suggestions? Unplug the OAT sensor and try again. -T8 |
