ClearNav currently has my 302 for the $350 GPS repair, and now I'm contemplating their new trade-in offer. I've enjoyed flying with the 302 for 10 trouble-free years, with the only complaint being poor wind speed indication.
To former 302 users who have switched to the ClearNav XC vario: is the upgrade significant and worthwhile? There is about a $1400 difference in cost between my repaired 302 with a fresh calibration and a year's warranty, and the new ClearNav vario. Worth the cost of admission? Why? TIA |
