Somehow I kinda doubt all the folks that get these drone
toys from Sam's club, and Walmart are going to fill out
the paperwork.

This is supposed to be the 'Year Of The Drone' as a result of Xmas gift giving
of millions of Chinese-made toys resulting in children flooding the skies with
annoying little flesh-choppers.

Doubtless, the FAA will be deluged with reports of drone operations that
violate FAA's hastily drafted regulations, resulting in FSDO Inspectors'
workloads rocketing off the charts.

When the news media start publishing/broadcasting the resulting stories of
hefty fines being levied against the 'offenders,' the flush of opportunist
drone-registration-agents http://aeroone.net/#start will likely see an
avalanche of competitive Section 333 petition preparation price cutting.

And the world will witness the 'Year Of The Regulatory System Meltdown'. :-)

The resulting chaos will be far more entertaining than an Xmas parade. Ho Ho
Ho indeed!

Emergency wards will overflow with un-healable propeller inflicted wounds.
Court dockets will swell to fill court clerks' offices as a result of the
inevitable torrent of personal injury suits. Aviation Law Judges will be
buried by the tsunami of cases brought by FAA enforcement actions.

Globalization's impact on simple things can be overwhelming. Just imagine the
endless upload stream of yottabytes of 4K video that are likely to crash
YouTube and FaceBook servers. ...

The new age will be merry and scary and filled with Strisandesque privacy
complaints https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streisand_effect, more law suits
against those who would "shoot the little suckers down"
http://www.cnet.com/news/judge-rules-man-had-right-to-shoot-down-drone-over-his-house/,
and when the Amazon/UPS delivery drones are unleashed, will the sun be dimmed
in the sky from the resulting drone-cast? :-)
