Curious what the highest sailplane launch from a winch has ever been for the longest cable. Michael Re record in a Perkoz, 1870 m. As I read the altimeter, they reached 2500m; however maybe the airfield is 630 m ASL. what cable material do they use? Spectra? The amusing thing is the inverted slip indicator! JMF |
