Fabric -- Polyfiber vs Air-Tech Coatings
I've finally finished building my shop and in two weeks will drag my Maule
home to refinish. I'm now leaning towards Air-Tech vs Polyfiber. I know Polyfiber is very forgiving in the early steps and easy to use but I've heard that the ease of spraying Aerothane has been an issue with some. I want to go with the high gloss urethane finish. I'm also looking at the redued steps and the ability to use the same primer and top coat on fabric, metal and f/g with the Air Tech. I'm about 60/40 towards Air-Tech at the moment. I've done one previous wing recover job but with the nitrate/butyrate. I'll be using a 4 stage HVLP unit with resprirator. Any comments, advice from someone that has used both? Thanks. |
