The big discussion in the shop area has been what the plane might
be worth. And whether it might be worth trying to pick up cheap and fix up. For non-flying projects (I know this isn't quite as bad), I think the "cheap" part has to be something in the neigborhood of 50c/$ for singles and 30c or less for light twins to be worth restoration hassles, and some sense of a decent deal when you are all done. Especially if you do the work - we tend to put so much of ourselves into these machines, kind of funny, but also uniquely satisfying. Martin |
