Yeah, I used to think 40 was "half way to dead", but people are living
longer. Now, 40 is almost like "half way to retirement".

Actually, I think my wife thinks more about turning 40 than I ever did.

But 40 isn't old any more.

| That's what I'm afraid of!

| Thanks for calling, sorry if I couldn't hear you too good,
people in the

Just remember the tell ATC that your old. You know like when you were a student,
you told the you were a student. Them they won't give you squawk, altitude, and
frequency all in one transmission. Too hard to remember all that information at
one time.

Thanks all.... actually my birthday isn't until the 19th, but this was the
closest opportunity for my wife to get everybody together so they could
abuse me.

Just an FYI to all of you rec.aviation regulars out the Jim Burns turns
the big FOUR-OH today, in Steven's Point, WI, U.S.A.

(His wife, Tami, promised him that we'd keep it quiet...)

:-)

Unfortunately, 1/8 mile vis with freezing rain and snow has kept us from
attending his surprise party today -- but perhaps you will all join us in
tipping a cold one in the general direction of Wisconsin for "old" Jim!
