Doesn't surprise me at all, now that MBNA is bought by Bank of America. I always wonders how MBNA doesn't lose money giving 5% FBO rebate when people would only put FBO purchases on that card. These days you can always seem to get 1% rebate on some other cards to put all the other credit card purchase on. So the MBNA card gets stuck with only the FBO purchases. I think the bank fee for processing credit card transactions is something like 1-2%. Robert M.
