I go into TEB 5 times a month (at least) with a business jet, and I can
tell you personally that while small GA is perfectly accepted, you'd better be on your A-game there; they don't like mistakes and they like you to keep it as fast as possible to keep up with the bizjets. TEB is one of the busiest business aviation hubs in the US. If you're looking for easier access to the city, try Caldwell, NJ. (http://www.airnav.com/airport/KCDW) I believe that it's only 25 minutes or so to the city, and they are MUCH friendlier to GA then TEB. The gas is cheaper also, and it's much more relaxed... the way GA should be. We actually ask our clients to use CDW instead of TEB to stay away from the congestion there. -e |
