Jim Also just shutting off the engine doesn't stop the prop from windmilling. To do that you have to have a prop that fully feathers and even then they don't always stop fully. As a matter of fact I have. In a 172 and the prop continued to spin until I was on the ground and didn't stop until the AS was about 45. |
