Wouldn't it be cool if he got his CFII, and I finished up the rating
with my son as instructor? What would be cool is if your =daughter= got her IR and CFII, and you did it with her. ![]() Jose -- You can choose whom to befriend, but you cannot choose whom to love. for Email, make the obvious change in the address. |

Now let him get his instrument rating... and you could work on it together! ;^) With easy access to each other as safety pilots, they'd probably do it faster and for less money. They can do productive and loggable foggle time during the course of normal flying. Now's your chance, Jay! Actually that is probalby a really good idea. Have the whole family do the instrument together. Study nights, flying days. Each taking turns in the left seat with the others in the back. Most university courses have students in the back while others fly. You learn a lot sitting in the back. I would bet this would be the cheapest way to get the ratings for all of you. Margy |

My CFI here at KSPI runs a course: http://10dayinstrument.com
He likes to have 2 students at the same time, taking turns in the sim & plane. Works quite well. "Margy Natalie" wrote in message m... [snip] Actually that is probalby a really good idea. anticipation. Don't worry, Andrew -- your 5 year old will be turning 17 in (what seems like) about three years. I swear to God, I just taught Joe how to ride a 2-wheeler. Now, today, I just got back from my first ride as "passenger" in "his" plane... :-) -- Jay Honeck Iowa City, IA Pathfinder N56993 www.AlexisParkInn.com "Your Aviation Destination" |

I'll pass that along. Wouldn't it be cool if he got his CFII, and I finished up the rating with my son as instructor? Yeah...until he has you doing push--ups on the flightline for screwing up. |

: But, uh, Jay? You know what this means, don't you? You're going to have to give up more yoke time. We're still trying to work this through. Dunno if Joe can afford it, at his pay grade... You know what that means... If he reads this NG, he will now be asking for a raise... |
