Every now and then some fairly interesting political discussion happens
here, I have a question for those who like to participate in that discussion. Where is a good forum for that kind of discussion? I am considering putting up a political web site that mostly will involve people in, or running for the US Congress, and would like input on my ideas. A few hours ago I posted a message with some of my ideas for the site at 'alt.politics.usa.congress', but it seems like the extent of the discourse over there doesn't amount to much more than "Bush is a lier" or "Hillery is a evil". I was hoping to find a forum with a little more intelligent discussion. -- Chris W KE5GIX "Protect your digital freedom and privacy, eliminate DRM, learn more at http://www.defectivebydesign.org/what_is_drm" Ham Radio Repeater Database. http://hrrdb.com |

Don't think there's an "intelligent" forum anywhere on Usenet dealing with politics in any shape or form. :-)) Human nature being what it is, even if someone posts something "intelligent" in the way of a question or a comment, it usually takes about 4 nano-seconds for someone to say Bush sucks, or Hillary's an asshole; America is the land of evil; take your pick :-))) -- Dudley Henriques |
