run Winpilot on and plug into my 302?
http://www.wingsandwheels.com/seeyou...hce_pdapna.htm This is
the exact same device as the GliderGuider and the Vertica 2 just without
any sort of silk screened name. This would be less expensive as it is
from a US source. It is very bright and is receiving high remarks.

This looks nice but is it competible with WP Pro, 302 etc??

Than you must know something I don't Tim. According to WP website he only offers the Advanced version for PNA and not the Pro.
In wich case the 302 will not communicate with the device. But maybe I'm reading this wrong?

It should communicate with most PNA software and also has capability to
connect to CAI302 or other devices
I have tried but don't use Winpilot and in fact not even sure if they still
offer this so not familiar with what connections are available with their
programs

I recently got this unit (V2/Glider Guider) from W&W --get a name for it Tim!!-- and ran it last weekend with LK8000. The unit was very easy to see in total blue sunny skies in VA. It was easy to set up and run, worked great and was brighter than an older Oudie and a HP I compared it to.

From reading on LK8000 and Glider guider websites it should have zero issues connecting to CAI 302, just not sure about your software and how it would work, but if it works off windows mobile you're in.

Price is right as well.
