On-line conversion tools can be very useful. I've tried many but here's the best I've found so far to convert pretty much anything to anything.

Is there a conversion short cut for changing 24.2 per square meter into pounds per square foot? I believe 24.2 Kg/2M can be expressed as 4.95 Lb/2F. Does this seem reasonable? Give a pilot a fish vs teach a pilot how to fish: 1 kilogram ~= 2.20 pounds 1 meter ~= 3.28 feet Therefore, 1 kilogram / (1 meter * 1 meter) - = 2.20 pounds / (3.28 feet * 3.28 feet) = ((2.20/(3.28*3.28)) (pounds/(feet*feet)) = 0.204 pounds/(feet*feet) = hum, divide by five. ![]() -- Roberto Waltman [ Please reply to the group, return address is invalid ] |
