Europe has a governing body called EASA and they are Lacking a sense of humor when it comes to fitting winglets that haven’t come from the factory and are not certified
Shame really as I am sure there are fantastic ideas out there but simply not allowed due to the rules Europe doesn’t really have an experimental glider certification either
