I managed to get some 1300L contact cement on the windshield of my Helio
Courier while reattaching the vinyl to the glareshield. Does anyone know
if I can use "adhesive remover" on an acrylic windshield without causing
crazing? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Many contact cements after they set up can just be rubbed off the window
with a thumb or thumbnail (or a plastic scraper like an old credit card).

Mike,

This product:

http://makeashorterlink.com/?J505216C9

works great, and will not damage your windshield. I have used it many
times for similar purposes. It is also a great product to have around
the shop/house for various cleanup jobs. It dissolves anything MEK
will, without the noxious fumes, or damaging properties.

p.s. So your MU2 doesn't have glass windshields???

Happy Flying!

Thanks. Yes the MU-2 has heated glass windshields. I got the contact
cement on the Helio windshield.
