out. Top of the flight was 17,800' MSL. Ah... High desert soaring. It
just can't be beat for reliability!

Worst spring in Kansas since 100+ years.

After a decent 70 degree yesterday. We're back to rain (snow up north) in
wi. One of these days I hope the runway will no longer be the swampy morass
it is now.

Supposedly it is spring here is the frozen tundra, but it sure doesn't seem
that way.

Pete

Ugh I think I need to get out of the great white north. 100 miles north of
Me they got 12-18" of snow. Heck they even went out and groomed the Birkie
cross country ski trails yesterday.

One person's stationary high pressure system is another person's stationary low pressure system. It's just working out in New England's favor today.

I was in an airliner from St. Louis to LAX yesterday and can attest to
the cu field in Kansas. It looked like there was some wonderful
soaring conditions down there.

Looks (on OLC) like the ridge was working.
