Anything they can steal.

I think they deserve considerably more respect than that.

Neat! I could paint my Maule up as a gen-u-ine warbird!

Well, *our* military hasn't used them since the 50's. They're surplus.

Yep. Instead of retarded giggling, these guys could've easily found pages like
http://www.aeroflight.co.uk/waf/amer...x-airforce.htm, and one
doesn't even have to know any "Mexican" to read it.

I posted the original "what do they fly?" Number one, for some reason I
just never thought of Mexico as having an air force for some reason. An
army and a navy yes but never thought of an air force. And I was curious as
to what they flew. Meaning did they purchase U.S. made aircraft or did they
buy elsewhere. I meant no pun or put down

If I recall correctly, the first military use of an aircraft occurred
in Mexico. While that fact doesn't directly address the subject of
Mexico's current air force, it does indicate that Mexico's place in
military aviation history is assured.

Was it Loughead or Curtiss that shipped an early design across the
border, that was used to strafe the decks of a military ship?

I don't think anyone thought your post meant to be a put-down. Remarks by
some others, though, were downright insulting.

As someone who is of hispanic descent and who flies professionally, I find this
insulting. Actually, I would find it insulting even if I didn't fly.
