Must be in a (nearly) parallel universe? ....or maybe you're thinking of the
pics of my Mooney that you just added to your rogue's gallery? That's OK, I
won't tell the Mooney you thought it was a Pathfinder. At least you didn't call
it some high-wing name. Glad you liked the pix, anyway. ;-)

Oh, and good story, as usual. Thanks for sharing.

Whoops -- I've got my "Daves" mixed up. Sorry!

Dave Somebody-or-other's Pathfinder is at Frank's right now -- and it's
gorgeous!

I do hope that you all understand that when you don't snip a long message with a
figurative "me too", that you are doing nothing but wasting bandwidth.

I'll have to get up there & try the grass strip at Amana. I haven't

used
a
grass strip since my primary training 2 years ago. Hmmmm. Maybe I'll use

a
club plane for that...

Landed there yesterday -- there's nothing to it.

Heck, grass is actually *easier* on your airframe than concrete or
asphalt...

Yes, the tyres (tires for those in the US) last longer.
