What about the one made by Jeppesen... FliteStar? It is what AOPA's FlightPlanner is based on, hence it has the same "look-and-feel" and the same disadvantage of not having some landmarks, BUT: with FliteStar you can underlay (scanned) "paper" charts (like Jeppesen VFR+GPS) you can/have to buy from them. I'm using FliteStar for several years now and are satisfied using it for VFR and IFR. Planning a flight is made easy with their VectorChart technology, where you can declutter the screen (e.g. just showing navaids and airspace) and adding more details when you need them later.
