Did it on the 17.
Easy job, great results. Found 6 parts of cable. Replaced by one piece of RG174. Crimped male/female BNC connectors to be able to take the dash away. |

Hopefully you mike cable will be long enough to get to the connector at the radio and avoid additional connections. Have fun UH Be advised - Hank's definition of "fun" isn't the same as most normal pilots. p3 Define "normal" UH Not UH. |

Bruno, you mentioned this last summer at Nephi, I meant to ask you if the pins on your radio are adjusted correctly for your type of mike? I know on the Dittel,Becker and some others that there are some small pins that can be moved in different combinations for various types of mikes. You may not have a mike problem.Check your manual this could save you the "fun" that Hank mentioned.

I'm ripping out as much as possible and starting fresh. It would be great to replace the boom mike wiring through the right side wall to make sure it is not part of the problem. Has anyone replaced this wire? Is it possible to just connect a new wire onto it and just pull the new one through? Thanks, Bruno - B4 |

I am sending all my hardware to Richard at Craggy Aero for him to trouble shoot. I will mention this to him and have him check. Thanks! Bruno - B4 |
