I'm not sure but suspect that file transfer could take longer in this case. (but maybe it will use another setting for pc connection). /Jancsika wrote: keithw wrote: Adjust the Baud rate from 19,200 to a lower setting , some units only respond at 4800 . -- keithw Thanks that did it! what are the disadvantages of the lower baud rate setting if any? Thanks Devin Bargainnier |

I had a similar problem with my Palm. Im my case was a matter of speed.
Instead of 19200, try 9600 or 4800. I can't understand why, but the fact is it works well like this. JB wrote in message oups.com... I just installed a colibri and IpAQ system. I'm running a ipaq 5550 w/ SeeYou Mobile The colibri "knows" where it is(shows correct long/lat and altitude) but when I turn the ipaq on, the colibri beeps and the lcd says "19200 connect " At the same time SeeYou says "no GPS Data" However "Connect Me" recognizes colibri Has anyone had this problem? How do you fix it? Thanks Devin Bargainnier |
