Cleaning (de-bugging) your airplane?

Mostly I just use water. The trick with bugs is that you have to let
the bugs soak up the water. I generally use a spray bottle and keep
the bugs wet for about 15 min. After that, they usually just wipe
right off.

Once I park, I use Meguiar's Detail Spray. Spray it on one wing, the strut,
and the cowl, go back and wipe it off w/o waiting, then do the other side
the same way. 5 Minute cleanup.

I use Aerocosmetics Wash Wax All.

I use it on the leading edges and windows. Works great. Not good for
grease on the belly. You can "wash" the plane with it and a rag and it
looks pretty good. Might be expensive that way. I have used it for 9
years. The little pads help on the painted surfaces to remove stubborn bugs.
