What dates are you arriving/departing?
Andrew, what city are you leaving from?

I am arriving Friday 29th at 7:30pm into Appleton. Coming from
Cincinnati.

Unfortunately I don't have that option because I am flying commercial
into Appleton.

Appleton has commercial service now? Wow, I guess things have changed
since I last flew in there ten years ago...

Hope to catch you at OSH.

Appleton actually has realatively good service these days, and they've
spruced up the terminal. I've used it on occasion visiting my parents
in Neenah. OSH has none to speak of now, I think those Beech 1900's
stopped coming a few years ago (but I may be wrong).

Appleton has had commercial service for a decade or so. Oshkosh lost
their few United Express flights they had. You can get into Appleton
on Delta, NW, or Continental (well, their commuter affiliates at least).

Actually, there appears to be lots of commercial service into Appleton.
It must be an Oshkosh special. From Cincinnati, I can fly non-stop on
Delta, for only $230 return fare. They also have lots of flights into
Green Bay.

There's a ride share board on the EAA web site. So far, I've gotten no action
from my ad on it (wanting a ride).

One thing you might check into. Does Hertz, Avis, or any other major company
rent cars at both Appleton and Osh? It may be cost-effective to rent a car one
way. If you try to do this, you will have to call the local number of the office
from which you wish to rent. The national operators will simply tell you they
don't have cars. I did this when I picked up my Maule; flew commercial into
Atlanta, rented a car, and turned it in at Columbus (closest office to Moultrie).

All rental cars at Appleton and Green Bay are sold out. Not surprising.
There are some available at exorbitant prices ($80/day).

I am interested in your options. What are they? Share a cab, pay for
gas etc... I am ready for it.

That plane on my website is the factory photo. Mine is still in pieces
in the workshop (been that way for five years).
