Hook your regular scanner up and scan the military band while flying in the area when they are playing around area. |

I did a season crop dusting there and to the south it was kind of interesting watching the heavies doing parachute drops at low level - 500-1000'agl - and making sure I was out of their drop zone! The bigger of the two airports there use it for training Japan Airlines crews. The smaller airport, where I flew out of, has about 2300 hard surface and lots of ag activity right about now. It is to the east a few miles and right on the edge ot town. Pretty quiet place all in all. Rocky |
