IEEEEEE! I'll have to sign up again. I used to subscribe to the newsletter which included the online. Do they have an online only sub now? How would I de-spam your email, in the event I wanted to ask you a question off-line? I'm counting on the display being an order of magnitude better than the Palm VII I used with Cheap *******s. Maybe a Nintendo Game Boy magnifier can be modified to fit... |

What will be your subscription cost for receiving the weather info?
"Maule Driver" wrote in message om... Anybody want to tell me why I shouldn't do it? Actually I'd welcome hearing about what anyone at Oshkosh has to say about what they see and hear. I can't wait, Christmas in August - Cheap ******* on 'roids (and with a bill) |

Good for planes, trains, cars, boats, 2 wheelers, 3 wheelers... Man, if that display were only about twice as long and twice as high... Still, I'm probably going to end up getting one even if I would rather have a tablet PC display. The unit is a complete knockout, IMO, and an enormous improvement over the 296, which was already damned good. The XM weather stuff is fabulous, of course, but other improvents have been made to the pages, operating logic and display as well. All the vendors quickly sold out of 396s, with no discounting. I ordered one on line from Gulf Coast Avionics. They're giving me $800 for my 296 and promise to ship in early September. -- Dan C172RG at BFM |
