A paradiddle is one of the rudiments of drumming, like rolls, flam accents,
etc. Actually, I think the drum sound after a joke is a flam, not a
paradiddle.

Its about all I know. Like just about everyone in the early-mid 60s I tried
to get involved in a garage band with some friends. I took a few drum
lessons, until it became clear that it is necessary to coordinate and
synchronize the hands and feet. End of drum career. And you think Peter
Best felt pain? :-(

I once tried out for the part of a police siren. I didn't get the part
