Use it in your car also...

I used rechargeable batteries and once left the 600c on until the
batteries were very low. Somehow the unit kept rebooting itself even if I switched the to new non-rechargeable batteries. Taking out the batteries and powering it up didn't solve the problem. I eventuall found the "soft reset" key sequence, and reset the unit. After which, it came back like new. I forgot the key sequence and don't have the manual on hand. Got a lesson here to not totally rely on the GPS as the sole means of navigation. I have always turned it off and remembered to not run the batteries too low. ..Blueskies. wrote: Use it in your car also...
