After an exhausting session with Victoria's Secret Police, TJ
confessed the following: Lt. Col. Steve O'Brien was the commander of the C-130: AKA OB (oh-bee)...a good guy. I didn't know he was the AC. Robey |

Without trying to finger point, I find it a little embarrassing that our
military, with its capability of developing contingency plans for coping with ****ant countries like Granada, Kosovo, and probably Monaco, hadn't gotten around to thinking outside the box enough to deal with flying Boeing 676 jet fuel bombs. It now seems that there was a little advance notice about that kind of attack developing. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, that "heads up" warning from the spooks never got to the guys responsible for putting together plans and procedures for dealing with such eventualities. George Z. Heard somewhere recently that the Atlanta olympics DID have plans to deal with suicide aircraft. I haven't heard that in connection to the 9/11 hearings disclosures about NORAD/FAA actions this week. All you heard was "no one ever thought of this, or planned for it." Walt |
