I have been using GNII on an IPAQ 2215 (2210) without any lockups.
As to abandoning the software. I am disappointed also but no software is ever bug free and all software is abandoned at some time. I believe that the developer has moved on to work on the ClearNav software, correct? Paul - Maybe I don't understand the compiler issue but if someone has "antique" computer hardware/OS, and can get ahold of the old compiler software, then they should be able to support GNII. You say that the compiler is no longer being sold. But doesn't someone have a copy of the compiler's install disks and documentation (might all be on the web somewhere)? Couldn't that be part of the deal for someone to support GNII? While it may be tedious, Andy is willing to give it a go. My $0.02. - John DeRosa |

But my goal is to make GN II work on new PDAs and PNAs using a current compiler environment. I doubt I would have any interest in a GNII version that did not run on the Aero. There are far more capable programs for the hi power, low visibilty, devices. Andy |
