Well, I am sure the controller's union will be happy about that.

Kerry could have come out for privatization and still got NATCA's
backing. It's a union, who else are they going to support?

Did you see the cartoon the other day? It was about the Democratic
party being down to just two candidates. It showed Kerry standing on
both sides of the podium. He's the only guy in either party
supporting both sides of any argument/subject. :-))

Yep. Now if FAA can just get the ARTCC controllers back to the

negotiating
table to redesign the Atlanta STARS the new runway might actually make a
difference in the arrival rate. ZTL controllers have pulled out of all

of
the national, regional and local airspace workgroups because we don't

have
enough staffing to attend the meetings. As it stands now, they will

build
it but no one will come...

My experience in the large business arena says that not only will they
build it anyway, but someone who knows nothing about what needs to be
done to make it worthwhile will come up with and send out procedures
on how it will be used regardless of whether the people who have to
implement them are represented on the panel drawing them up or
not.....

LOL! That's exactly what they will do! Just like DVRSM...

It must be creating a cottage industry.
