Rolf,

I recall some problems at my school with mismatched headsets;
one of the instructors had a personal headset that would completely
block the mike output of the schools headset, due to large impedance
mismatch & a shared input channel in the radio setup.


Time to find a school that has decent intercoms installed. Problem
solved...

Except the PDA is not legal for FAA exams.
