Ok Matt, I've considered it. My statement stands. Nobody "invited"

anything.
Keep in mind that the Brits have far more experience with terrorism than

we
have. I've seen the videos, and I didn't see the panic our leaders showed
when a training aircraft almost flew over them.

Yet you lost 50 people.

And for the post about the US not standing by the US since we banned our
personnel from London:

You let terrorists operate pretty much in the open. You forbade condemning
Islam. That's an open invitation and they took you up on it.

Oh, I don't think terrorists "operate in the open". No one "forbids"
condemnation of Islam,
except as a national policy, as evidenced by the millions who do. A
terrorist is a criminal, here, there, and in every religion. They can wave
whatever banner they like, but it does not change the fact that they are
criminals. When faced with a rattlesnake, you don't have to understand his
motivation. You simply kill it. Kazinski & McVey were definately terrorists,
and most definately not Muslim.
We recently had a local lawyer arrested for the Madrid bombings on half
a fingerprint and a muslim background. Seems he once represented someone who
knew someone who...ect. You too fit into someone's group.

You haven't looked at the Islamic schools, huh?

Pardon? Yes, no, maybe...?

Non-sequitur.

They DO stand beside the people of Great Britian - just not within the M25!
:-)

Ban lifted on Tuesday.

London has pretty much just picked itself up and gotten on with it.

Not a bit surprised, evidently the British don't scare easily.
You have our best wishes, carry on.

US Military commanders have banned their personnel from visiting London.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4673987.stm

Details of the travel ban, enforced on Friday, emerged as US President
George W Bush said the US would "not retreat in the face of terrorists" .

He said: "In this difficult hour, the people of Great Britain can know the
American people stand with you."

Oh well

Gathering of Mustangs and Legends
"The Final Round Up"
June 8-11th, 2006 Stead Field, Nevada

"In 1999 an unprecedented gathering of 65 P-51 Mustangs and 12 Mustang Aces
took place at Stallion 51 in Kissimmee, Florida. It was considered to be a
Once in a Lifetime event. The once in a lifetime event is about to happen
again in 2006! The Gathering of Mustangs and Legends: "The Final Round Up"
plans not only to repeat the grandeur of the last event but to exceed it
with a proposed 100 Mustangs in attendance and a 51 Plane Mustang Formation
along with countless Mustang pilots and aces from WWII and Korea. (click

I would'n mind finding myself in Reno, Nevada next June.

Not true from all the reports I've read and would contradict everything else
the leaders in London have been telling the population (go back to work,
return to your normal life, etc)

Do you have any factual source for that claim? It contradicts all news
reports I've seen, in which the US military said it issued the ban for the
safety of US troops (with no mention of any request from Britain), and
British authorities (including Tony Blair) said they'd pressed the US to
*end* the ban.
