That was Archie Bunker's (All in the Family) idea:
F/As pass out the pistols at the beginning of the flight; and collect the pistols at the destination. He also suggested that bank robberies could be averted by having trap doors in front of the tellers, with the would-be-robbers falling into chutes and sliding to the nearest police station ... You could also strangle somebody with the demonstration seatbelt, and bash their brains out with the portable oxygen system for the cabin crew. I don't think the seat cushions are hard enough to break things with or soft enough to be very good for smothering. -- David Dyer-Bennet, , http://www.dd-b.net/dd-b/ RKBA: http://www.dd-b.net/carry/ Pics: http://dd-b.lighthunters.net/ http://www.dd-b.net/dd-b/SnapshotAlbum/ Dragaera/Steven Brust: http://dragaera.info/ |
