I don't burn.. Anywhere. (Ok maybe my nose sometimes (hence the
baseball cap). Man, that would be nice. Us fair-skinned lads of German descent aren't accustomed to tropical sunshine, so we must shield ourselves as best we can. The development of sun screens that actually WORK has been a real Godsend for me. After burning to a crisp my first year, I wore long, loose khaki pants for the next 15 years at OSH, sweating accordingly. It's really only been in the last ten years that I've been able to stay out in the sun all day, bare-legged, thanks to the development of modern "lead-shield" sunscreens. -- Jay Honeck Iowa City, IA Pathfinder N56993 www.AlexisParkInn.com "Your Aviation Destination" |

Big floppy Tilly Hat? ...YES.
Nice looking hat from REI. Big brim, but not as dorky looking as some I see at airshows. Hey...dorky is "in" at airshows. Of course, maybe that's one of the reasons young people aren't flying. Too many dorky hats, and guys wearing dark socks and sandals...? -- Jay Honeck Iowa City, IA Pathfinder N56993 www.AlexisParkInn.com "Your Aviation Destination" |
