Admittedly, my eyes are not so good. BUT...

Did this Wellie get rear-ended by a Mack truck?
Looks like the "crumple-zone" worked well.

Can anyone explain? TIA

That's a wavy line separating the top camouflage colours from the black.

There's a poor example in this link, aircraft SEP.

Looks like the bloke that painted the black camouflage may have had an
extra martini at lunch...
