Default small prop plane vs helicopter crash statistics

I am wondering where I can find fatal crash statistics for small light
single or double prop engine aircraft vs. Helicopter crash statistics?

Eg. Cessna Skyplane vs. Bell 206 Jetranger/Robinson

Perhaps comparing number of deaths per year to total hours flown, or
number of flights.

I'd like to know which is statistically more dangerous.

Thanks.

Historically, the Bell Jetranger, had the lowest accident rate of any single
engined aircraft (a few years ago, checking UK statistics). Whether this is
still true I don't know. The Cessna 172, had one of the best figures, but
loses a little because of the amount of training done in it. The Robinson is
worse. I presume you mean a 'Skylane', rather than a 'Skyplane'?.
A lot also has to do with how the planes are 'used'. You are more likely to
find a twin flying frequent IFR, than most singles, and (unfortunately),
this increases the risks.

Best Wishes
