Default ELT and PLB Presentation Available

Please see this web page for various presentations which I have
authored on various aviation and soaring topics.

The newest presentation concerns Emergency Locator Transmitters (ELT)
and Personal Locator Beacons (PLB) - This presentation talks about the
basics of what ELTs and PLBs do. It covers the applicable ELT FARs and
TSOs. It also covers the recently announced (Sept 6, 2007) termination
of processing of distress signals emitted by 121.5 MHz by the
International COSPAS-SARSAT Organization (U.S. included) on 1 February
2009 and how that might impact you. Download this presentation for
complete details.
