Default Creaky canopy

Wondered what works well to quieten a noisy canopy in pullups etc. Tried
tape on the friction areas. Duo Discus.

I keep one of those silicone impregnated shoe polishing
sponges for use around the canopy frame.

You can gnore any follow up postings about the perils
of silicone for repairs. It is of no practical consequence
when applied just around the canopy area. I have used
this for years - including 2 years on a Duo - and there
was no repair problem at all when a previous glider
had its nose replaced right through the canopy rim
area.
