Default Shiny New Flight Computer

Why is a Shiny new Flight Computer always better than the shiny new flight computer I bought a few years ago?

The clouds don't change, and the same guys at the top will always be at the top.

As a teenager, my 1964 Chevy II always went faster, and I thought I would get hotter chicks just after I washed it! Jacking the back end got even hotter girls! Oh, and those babymoons!

Just pondering...
