GM Weatherpak fittings vs. Cannon plugs
Could money be safely saved by using GM Weatherpak fittings instead of
Cannon plugs? The Weatherpaks are showing up in some pretty harsh industrial places in preference to Cannon plugs. |

My opinion is that they would be excellent. Where can you get them?

They have those for sale. http://www.picocanada.com/index.asp Their site is unfortunately under construction right now. The 2002 .pdf catalog I have shows the GM Weatherpak fittings in the page 18. GM Weatherpak fittings vs. Cannon plugs
I used them on every electrical connection in my experimental and am
VERY happy with the performance. They seal up watertight, have a positive lock so they cannot come apart and are priced right. I bought mine at the local NAPA store and they had most sizes in stock. Two wire was 3 bucks or so, the three wire was 4, four was about 6 bucks. The only one size they needed to order in was the 5 wire one, it took the next day for that one to show up. I am betting any good auto store has them. Just look in the "aviation" section of the store.
